Registration and Election Information for the 2017
Primary Elections
General Information
- You must be a US Citizen to vote
- You must be at least 18 years of age
- You must reside in a town or city within your State
- You must not be in prison
Voter Registration deadlines in local States
New York – Primary September 12th
Registration deadline for in person-no later than Aug. 18th.
Mail in-Postmarked no later then Aug. 18th.
You must reside at your address for at least 30 days.
New Jersey – Primary – June 6
Registration deadline- May 16th.
Must be a resident of your County for at least 30 days.
Connecticut – Primary – September 12th
Registration deadline for mail in, postmarked by the 5th day before the election. In person, with your Registrar by the 5th day before the election.
You may register on the day before the Primary at the The Town Clerk in each town.
Only Registered Democrats and Republicans
May vote in the Primary Election
